About GRAILS
GRAILS is an independent index of rep sellers. It does not sell or ship anything.
What GRAILS is
GRAILS lists 277 rep sellers and about 270,000 pieces from shops on Weidian and Taobao. For every piece you see photos, the price, real QC photos when there are some, and links to buy it through a shopping agent.
There are also free tools: a link converter, shipping prices, a parcel tracker, an AI QC check, search by photo, and Ask, an assistant for the catalogue.
GRAILS does not sell anything
GRAILS is not a shop. We do not sell, stock or ship any item, and we never take your payment.
The prices on GRAILS are the sellers' prices on Weidian and Taobao. You buy at the shopping agent you pick, for example ZentBuy, KakoBuy or LitBuy. The agent buys the item from the seller, takes QC photos in its warehouse and ships the parcel to you. Your order and payment are between you, the agent and the seller. How an order works.
About the items
Most pieces on GRAILS are replicas, also called reps. They are made to look like items from known brands. They are not made, sold or approved by those brands, and they are not authentic. Brand names are used only to describe what an item looks like.
Rules for replicas are different in every country. Check yours before you order. Customs by country.
How sellers are chosen
Every seller in the directory is vetted by GRAILS before it is listed. If quality slips, the seller is taken off the list.
Buyers can rate sellers and pieces on GRAILS and in the GRAILS Discord: 1 to 5 stars and a few quick tags.
How sellers are ranked
Every seller gets a GRAILS Score from 0 to 10 for how safe they are to buy from. Vetted sellers start at 8, the most known sellers at 9. Real QC photos of their items add up to 0.6. From 3 buyer ratings, what buyers say counts for 30% of the score. The price level (Budget, Mid or Best) is shown, but it does not change the score. Scores are updated every day.
The rankings list the sellers for each brand and category, best first.
How GRAILS makes money
GRAILS is free to use. It earns money in two ways:
- Agent links. Many Buy and sign-up links on GRAILS carry our invite or affiliate code. When you sign up or order through them, the agent may pay us a commission. It costs you nothing extra.
- Paid placement. Some sellers pay GRAILS, as a fee or a share of their sales, to have their pieces shown first in some piece grids, for example on brand pages and spreadsheets.
Paid placement is not part of the GRAILS Score. A seller cannot pay for a better score.
