What is the GRAILS Score?
A number from 0 to 10 for each rep seller on GRAILS. It says how safe and reliable a seller is to buy from, not how cheap they are.
What goes into it?
Every seller in the GRAILS directory is vetted and starts at 8. The most known sellers start at 9. Real QC photos of their items add up to 0.6. From 3 buyer ratings, on grails.fit or with the GRAILS Discord bot, what buyers say counts for 30% of the score.
How do I know what a score is based on?
Every score on GRAILS shows its evidence next to it: how many of the seller's items have real QC photos, how many buyer ratings they have, and how many people clicked buy in the last 30 days. A seller with no buyer ratings yet is scored only from our vetting and QC photos, so check the QC photos of the piece you want too.
Does a Budget seller get a lower score?
No. Budget, Mid and Best are price levels. A budget seller can be just as safe to buy from, so the price level is shown next to the score and does not change it.
Can a seller pay for a better score?
No. Some sellers pay to have their pieces shown first on GRAILS, but paid placement is not part of the score.
Why does a seller say not enough data yet?
Sellers outside the vetted directory need at least 3 buyer ratings before they get a score. We would rather show nothing than a number we cannot back up.
How often does it change?
Every day. New buyer ratings and new QC photos move the score.
How do I help?
After you order, rate the seller or the piece on its GRAILS page: 1 to 5 stars, plus a few quick tags. You can also use /rate in the GRAILS Discord.
