How it works, in 5 steps
- Make an agent accountAn agent buys the piece in China for you and ships it. New to it? LitBuy with our link gives new accounts welcome coupons.
- Pick your pieces on GRAILSTap Buy on any piece: it opens on your agent. Choose colour and size, add to cart and pay the item price. Chinese sizes run small, so most people go one size up.
- Wait for the warehouse photosThe seller ships to the agent in China (usually 3 to 7 days). The agent takes QC photos: real photos of your piece. Check them and only then approve.
- Put everything in one parcelWhen all pieces are in the warehouse, put them in one parcel and pick a shipping line. One parcel is much cheaper than several.
- Pay shipping and waitShipping to Europe or the US usually takes 1 to 3 weeks. You get a tracking number.
Tips for a good first order
- Start with 3 or 4 pieces: enough to make shipping worth it, small enough to learn.
- Pick pieces with QC photos on GRAILS: other people already bought them and you can see the real thing.
- Buy from sellers with a high GRAILS Score. Every piece shows its seller.

How much does a first order cost?
About €100 to €150 for 3 to 4 pieces including shipping. Pieces are usually ¥100 to ¥400 each and a 2 to 3 kg parcel to Europe usually costs about €20 to €40, depending on the line.
How long does it take?
Usually 2 to 4 weeks in total: about a week for the pieces to reach the warehouse, then 1 to 3 weeks of shipping.
What if a piece looks wrong in the QC photos?
Do not approve it. Ask the agent to exchange or return it before it ships, which is easy while it is still in China.
Which agent should I use?
