What the extension sends, and where
GRAILS Companion talks to exactly one server: grails.fit, operated by the same people who publish the extension. It sends only what is needed to answer the request you are making:

That is the complete list.
What the extension does not collect
- No name, email, address, or account credentials.
- No payment or order information.
- No browsing history, and no record of the pages you visit.
- No tracking, advertising, or analytics identifiers tied to you.
- No data is sold or shared with third parties.
What is stored on your device
The settings you choose, and a cache of GRAILS’ public catalogue data and previous QC lookups. These live in your browser’s local extension storage, are never synced off-device, and are removed when you uninstall the extension.
Referral codes
On Kakobuy visits that arrive with no referral code, the extension sets GRAILS’ referral code in
Kakobuy’s own AFFCODE cookie, and GRAILS may earn a commission on resulting orders
at no additional cost to you.
If a referral code is already present, it is left untouched. If a creator referred you, the extension never changes their code. It only ever fills in a blank. You can disable this entirely in the extension’s options, and it keeps working.
That cookie is Kakobuy’s own, is read by Kakobuy, and contains no information about you.
